I offer a combination of swedish, deep tissue and myofascial release with each of my massages. Also, every massage is performed on a Far Infra Red heated table mat and can include aromatherapy, cupping and Negative Ion saturation.
Energy work is based on the belief that everyone has a \"life force\", and that the body needs to sustain its balance for optimum health. Anytime you experience emotional or physical illness, it indicates that your life force has simply become unbalanced. I work directly with your energy field to restore balance and flow to your entire system. And once your energy field has been restored to full health, your body will follow.
I have been practicing Reiki for over 22 years. Every energy session includes low FIR heat from my Ereada table warmer and negative ion satuation. My energy work is centered around Reiki and also may include crystal healing, meridian cleansing, channeling and chakra balancing.
Contact me today if you have any questions regarding energy work. I'd love to speak with you.
Myofascial release is a form of soft tissue therapy intended to eliminate pain, increase range of motion, and rebalance the entire body. It does this by using massage techniques to stretch the fascia and release the bonds that exist between the fascia, muscles and bones. Fascia is the connective tissue that connects and covers all muscles, organs, and skeletal structures of the body. My myofascial work applies light pressure and gently stretches the fascia; this allows for increased blood circulation and relief from pain.
Bamboo bliss other known as Mu Xing is a treatment utilizing warm bamboo and rosewood tools to perform deep tissue massage techniques. The soothing warmth of the tools helps to melt muscular tension away, allowing for a deeply relaxing and effective massage.
This massage is simply magical. It starts with a nourishing, lovely scented warm argon oil dripped along your scalp line. Followed by a 20 minute scalp massage that works the nourishing oil into your hair, releasing built up tension and increasing blood flow to the head and neck. The scalp massage is followed by a full body massage including specialized stretches to release tension in the upper back and neck.
